Membership
Spark is an artist run gallery, operated cooperatively by Spark members since 1979. Spark fosters a spirit of artistic risk-taking and exploration. Members work in wide-ranging contemporary art mediums and include members who have been faculty at Colorado universities, colleges and art schools. We seek serious, energetic artists to join our cooperative.

There are currently three membership levels.
Full Member
Full Membership includes:
• An exhibition in half of the main gallery once every exhibition cycle (16-18 months).
• Participation in the annual members' exhibit(s).
• Networking with a community of established and emerging artists.
• Internet presence on the Spark website.
• Opportunities to be involved in community events and off-site exhibitions.
Full Members must attend monthly meetings, pay monthly dues ( currently $80/month) and participate in the operations of the gallery. Full membership is limited to artists living within a 60 mile radius of the gallery.

You will need to provide a brief bio, statement, current resume (Word doc or PDF), two references and 5 JPG images (sized at 2MB or less). Label images with your first initial, last name and title of the piece separated by hyphens (e.g. J-Doe-Untitled.jpg).

Associate Member
Associate Membership includes:
• An exhibition in the associate gallery once every exhibition cycle (16-18 months).
• Participation in the annual members' exhibit(s).
• Networking with a community of established and emerging artists.
• Internet presence on the Spark website.
• Opportunities to be involved in community events and off-site exhibitions.
Associate Members must pay monthly dues(currently $110/month). Associate Members do not actively participate in the administrative operations of Spark Gallery so are not required to attend monthly meetings.
• Associate membership is open to collaborating artists and small collectives. Please email [email protected] for additional guidelines.

Spark Gallery also offers a limited number of Supporting Memberships. Supporting Members have one group show each year in which one or two pieces of their work are displayed. Annual dues are currently $20/month.
