I love the photographic process and do not feel bound by subject or approach: whether an image is captured with a view camera or an iPhone, black and white or color, printed in a darkroom or on a computer.  My goal is to record a fleeting moment expressing my vision.
My most recent work is generating images shot through glass bricks, creating a natural distortion that transforms ordinary objects into something abstract and painterly.  The photos are later enhanced with textural overlays—such as subtle grain, scratches or layered patterns-- adding additional depth and tactile richness.  The viewer is invited to look beyond the literal translation which is obscured and no longer important.
