KIMBERLY PUTNAM

I consider myself a media inclusive artist.  The work I create is driven by concepts and not a particular medium.  As a female artist and activist, I use my art to inspire conversation, to communicate and explore current topics relating to identity and gender in our culture. Topics that are of particular interest to me include objectification, the male gaze, gender biases and voice as agency.
