DEBORAH BRYON
Life on Life's Terms We are living in times close to the edge; polarized, gritty, and alive. These paintings are all recycled, a record of my past with an overlay of impressions I absorbed over the last year that I feel need a voice. I met some of the people in these paintings traveling through Cuba and Africa. Others I saw in a store, or on the street in front of my house. A few of the scenes are from news clips on the violence that has been happening in Peru, - a place that remains close to my heart. This body of work is a visual narrative of my re-entry process into the world after hibernating during the Co-Vid pandemic www.deborahbryon.com lessonsoftheincashamans.com |
